Dear friends, I’m writing you with a big heart from The Big Island in Hawaii.

I’ve been somewhat hiding out here {read: deletes all social media apps} for the past 5 nights and will continue to be here until further notice {okay fine, I do have a return flight next week}. But, I committed to writing this Substack 2-3 weekly and I feel a responsibility to my paying subscribers.
