My Fall Trip to Paris
The weekend before Thanksgiving has quietly become my favorite time to slip away to Paris. The city feels calm but still alive, that perfect in-between where the museums are open and airy enough to wander without a plan, and the shops have just started to sparkle with holiday magic. It feels like the city is taking a deep breath before the season begins.
Last year, my friends and I made a promise to one another that we would always come back during this exact week. There’s something special about it… a little tradition in the making. And this time, the timing worked out even better because my mom happened to be on her annual birthday trip to Europe, so we overlapped for two nights which felt extra special.
Here is everything we did on our very quick 4 night jaunt to Paris. If you would like to see everything I packed, watch this video for links to everything. The only coat I packed was this Almada the Label and it was absolutely perfect. I also packed this scarf which has a button on the back and it made for the best accessory that I didn’t have to fuss with and it kept me super warm. These pieces feel so timeless - I cannot recommend them enough. You can see the coat in action in this video here.
We stayed at Hotel Masse which I cannot recommend enough. The rooms are tiny (read: TINY) so prepare yourself. But it really fits the bill for everything you need - location, design, comfort, location. You don’t spend time in your hotel room in Paris anyway and I will most definitely stay at this chic hidden gem on my next trip!
DINNER
This was our list. We didn’t make it to everything.
Bar Omi (sushi) - The ramen soup here was incredible. I love this little spot and highly recommend it if you’re in the mood for sushi.
Le Voltaire - I can’t believe it took me so long to finally try Le Voltaire. It’s officially my favorite must have dinner spot in Paris.
Hotel L’Amour - This is a wonderful spot to pop into for drinks or a more casual dinner.
Bar Hemingway - We met Erin from Nour Hammour for canapés and drinks at this gem. 10 thumbs up!
Ogata - We had a beautiful dinner here on our last night. It’s Japanese and has the most incredible shop downstairs.
