Finally!
I don’t know if it’s the sunshine in LA, the fresh start of a new month, or just a little shift in the stars, but whatever it is I’m feeling a real spring in my step as we march toward Spring Break week.
I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed (as well as thoughts sent) to the Hawaiian islands that are getting rocked with horrible weather this week. I’m hoping the storms begin to lift tomorrow. I grew up in hurricane country, so I have a real soft spot in my heart for those affected by storms like this.
If all goes well, we’ll be heading off to Kailea Kona this time next week for a spring break trip with my family.
First thing’s first: Let’s hear it for the (Zara) bags. I recently ordered this and this to get a taste of what Zara’s bags have to offer lately and I cannot recommend them enough. This bag is super heavy, super slinky, and I honestly can’t wait to awkwardly carry it out asap. And this bag is just what the Little Mermaid ordered to round our her picture perfect spring break looks.

I was really jazzed about these “yellow” ish flats from Margaux when I spotted them online. I’m trying to add more color into my basic wardrobe and this felt like a nice subtle way to pop some in. To my surprise, they are much more dark mustard in person. I’m not mad about it, but just leaving this photo here in case you are considering ordering. I’d definitely say they are a good addition and to order in your true size. Repeat: Don’t size up.
I was saving this set for Hawaii but over the weekend I figured that life is short, wear the clothes! I’m obsessed, truly, with this set from Posse. You’ll be seeing me repeat wear it next week for Spring Break. I received about 50 DMs asking about my sandals. I got them last year from Amanu and they still check all of the boxes for me. I did just order these jelly flip flops for the trip and will report back.
