not too much but not too little but some exciting things to come

I don’t know about you but I’m really feeling that in-between holiday, in-between season lull.

I know a lot of people spring right into holiday mode post Halloween but that’s just not my vibe. I need a little pause, a beat, a deep breath to adjust and prep myself for the pending holidays. I keep telling myself that the holidays are going to look a little bit different for us this year, but the more I think about it I don’t really think they’ll be that different after all.

In the meantime, I feel like I’ve just been trucking along. I don’t think I have ever been more excited for the start of a new year. Is it just me? Maybe it is. But this year has felt like the most grueling, longest, weirdest year of my life. And while I sit here and think that things will be drastically different after the 3,2,1 countdown to 2024, I should really know better by now. Nothing will really change all that much. So, if you are hoping for things to really being to change or to start fresh, the time is NOW. Start your resolutions now. Begin the transformation now.

This is really me just telling myself this more than anything.
