Merry Christmas Eve everyone!
I went to Aspen last week with the family and while I didn’t do any skiing this year, we did manage to make it to two dinners. I usually love skiing but the snow hadn’t really fallen yet and I wanted to give Grant ample time to hit the slopes while I watched the kids.
The dinner we had was at Catch Steakhouse and then Butula which were both lively and delicious. We took the kids to Pinehouse Creekhouse for an afternoon lunch and it was extra special. I highly recommend it with kids for lunch. This was our third trip as a family in our new chapter of co-parenting and it felt really nice to be together during the holidays. We are still figuring out what this all looks like for us and are taking it slow and doing what feels right.
I jetted off to Texas with the kids shortly after, but didn’t get a chance to snap too many photos. I was feeling very present with family time and busy catching up with everyone.
The hero of my Aspen trip was my new MaxMara coat. It kept me super warm the entire time and I threw it on over everyone. A very strong investment!
