What to Pack: Cabo

My quick 48 hr trip - what I packed and wish I had packed

You might be shocked to hear me say that you need a layer or two in Cabo, especially this time of year. It’s a touch cooler during the evenings and if you’re anything like me, you run cold at night. My rule of thumb is that if it’s whale season, then it’s sweater at night season.

I surprised myself last week when I spontaneously accepted a last minute invite to Cabo with two of my dear girlfriends. It was G’s nights with the kids and my entire body was craving sun after what has felt like a cold winter in Los Angeles.

I wish I had packed my new black Xirena pants (just more black in general) and more Wyeth linen. I almost always wear a sweater over the shoulder (insert the newly restocked Marin in Medium here) at night in Cabo. I really wish I had packed a bikini over my favorite Bond-Eye one piece because I had a moment to really work on my tan. I really wish I hadn’t bothered packing heels. I don’t know what I was thinking but I was really excited about my new Gianvito’s.

I’m in desperate need of a new basket tote bag and have been eyeing this one by Hereu. I also really love this one by Bembien.

I love this mid-weight linen blazer over literally anything.

I very seriously regret getting rid of my Deiji Studios set last year and I immediately ordered a new one after this trip.

Raise your hand if you’re kind of tired of seeing the Hermes Oran? Ya, me too. I’m on the hunt for a replacement pair and this pair by Tod’s are currently my front runners.

That’s really it! I hardly packed anything because it was such a quick trip that mainly consisted of reading and eating with my girls which was just what the Dr. ordered!
